From Me To You – The Beatles (This a-side was peaking on the Bubbling Under chart at #116 this week in 1963. A few months later, the Beatles would have their first Hot 100 hit with I Want To Hold Your Hand, which would debut at #45 in Jan 1964 and would spend seven weeks at #1. That kicked off a long string of Hot 100 entries – including From Me To You, which reached a peak of #41 that spring after being re-released as the b-side of Please Please Me. The original non-charting b-side of From Me To You’s 1963 release, Thank You Girl, would get re-released as well, and would reach #35. The only thing those songs needed was some coattails to ride!)
