Trivia Answer
A: FLEETWOOD MAC was founded by guitarist Peter Green and he named the band after two people he had worked with before, who he *hoped* would be part of his new band: drummer Mick Fleetwood and bassist John McVie. But John McVie was playing with John Mayall at the time and decided *not* to join Fleetwood Mac, so Bob Brunning was the original bass guitar player for the group instead, and played on the first single, "Long Grey Mare". Soon after, John McVie split ways with Mayall and took Brunning's place in Fleetwood Mac. The band currently consists of Fleetwood, McVie, Stevie Nicks, and Lindsey Buckingham.
Host Next Week (Feb 9): John Simon, featuring 1965
