Date:  June 29, 2024

Host:  Kim Vaughan

Feature:  Library Road Trip

The Finger Lakes Library System is encouraging people to visit not just your own local library this summer, but to also explore other libraries throughout the 5 counties served by FLLS.

Pick up a map at the first stop on your FLX Library Road Trip and get it stamped at each location you visit.  Plan your adventure and collect souvenirs!

Tonight, Rockin’ Remnants is featuring this event with songs about books and other things that can be borrowed from libraries, songs related to the Makerspace at the Tompkins County Public Library, as well as songs about road trips and various ways you could get to the library.

There were lots more songs on this theme than fit into one show, so we’ll hear some more of them on July 20.  Perhaps by then you’ll have visited at least one library on your own FLX Library Road Trip!
