May 20 – Joe Cocker – 69 years old

              - Cher – 67 years old

Tonight Rockin' Remnants looks at late May of 1965. The British Invasion was in full swing, “Folk Rock” was just beginning to unfold, Soulful ballads (and “Blue-Eyed Soul”) shared the airwaves with Novelty records and Rock ‘n’ Roll records, and Petula Clark was following up her success on “Downtown” with another swinging platter. We’ll also spotlight Bob Dylan’s birthday with an extended celebration in the 7:00 hour (and re-visit him in the 8:00 hour).
