45 Corner

Tonight in the Corner it's a twin-spin featuring The Unknown Soldier by The Doors and Witchy Woman from The Eagles!
The 45 version of The Unknown Soldier differs from the LP version in the following ways: it's in mono, there's a fast fade on the outro bringing the time from 3:27 to 2:51 and there's no tolling bell and crowd noise sound effects in the outro!  This peaked at #39 on the Hot 100 in Spring 1968.
The 45 version of Witchy Woman is the radio promo which is the only place you'll find the Stereo 45 version.  The 45 version is 3:51 which trims off 30 seconds from the LP version thanks to a couple of edits during the guitar solo and the instrumental section leading up to the final verse!  This peaked at #9 in the fall on 1972, second single off their debut album and first Top Ten single.
